"Buddy-2-Buddy March Job Fairs" As stated in the past, B2B simply compiles this list, they are not hosting any. Here is the March 2016 listing!
"Free Legal Services" The Legal Aid & Defender Association, Inc., is hosting numerous (17 to be exact) free legal clinics (priority for vets) in both Oakland & Macomb counties for the next 6 months, all starting at 10AM. "VA Golden Age Games coming to Detroit (Updated website)" The VA Golden Age Games are coming to Detroit in July 2016. This will be open to all veterans that are enrolled in the VA Health System. To get a sneak peek see early flyer or visit their new website to volunteer or participate!
"Vietnam Veterans 50th Anniversary Video" The Vietnam 50 Anniversary Commission has released a video about Vietnam and those that served. This video can be seen here.
EVENTS!
"Thursday, March 10, 2016" University of Detroit - Mercy Law School is hosting a Free Legal Aid Clinic covering the Social Security Disability. This will be held at Sts Peter & Paul Jesuit Church Sanctuary, 438 St Antonie, Detroit, from 9 till 11AM. You must call in advance for a reservation to 313-596-0258. See flyer for more details.
"Thursday, March 10, 2016" Patriot Hockey has teamed up with the Detroit Red Wings to offer discount Red Wing tickets (tonight's game is against the Winnipeg Jets) with $10 of every ticket sold helping out the Fallen & Wounded Solider Fund, a local group in the Detroit area. There are 7 different games thru April that you can get this discount. All games at the Joe starting at 7:30. "Saturday, March 12, 2016" Vets Returning Home is hosting its 2nd annual dinner fund-raiser at the Royalty House, 8201 E 13 Mile, Warren, from 6 till 9PM. "Sunday, March 13, 2016" Operation Yellow Ribbon & DAV Chapter 129 is hosting Charity Euchre every second Sunday to raise money to asssit recent veterans at DAV 19, 47326 Dequindre Rd, Shelby Twp, from 4 till 6PM. "Tuesday, March 15, 2016" Oak Park VFW Aux #1407 is having a Firekeepers Casino Fund-raiser to the casino our west. Will leave Oak Park at 9AM and return at 7PM. Cost is $40 per person. For complete details see flyer.
"Thursday, March 17, 2016" Dearborn Legion post 364 is hosting a St Patrick Day Corn Beef & Cabbage dinner, noon till sold out. Cost is $10 per person to eat in. Located at 3001 S Telegraph, Dearborn. See flyer for more details.

"Friday, March 25, 2016 (NEW DATE)" The Pontiac VA Vet Center is hosting a Women's Vet Health Fair from 10AM till 2PM at their office, 44200 Woodward, Ste 108, Pontiac. All women vets & their families are invited to attend. A number of vet orgs will be there to assist with related veteran matters. For more info see flyer.

(LANSING) - The Michigan American Legion now has an accredited Veteran service officer available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week. The American Legion Veteran service officer services all veterans and their families with filing claims to the Veterans Administration on the veteran's behalf or to check the status of a claim already filed.
