EVENTS!

"Friday, February 27, 2015" Suits for Soldiers is hosting a Detroit Pistons night out at the Palace of Auburn Hills, starting at 6:30PM. Join them in the luxurious Penthouse Club 300 as they play the New York Knicks. Tickets are $65 which includes the Penthouse Club, all you can eat food, pop, beer, etc. Tickets must be purchased in advance at their website.

"Friday, February 27, 2015" American House, 17255 Common Rd, Roseville, is hosting a Mac & Cheese Cook Off as a fund raiser for Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 154, from 6 to 8PM. For $45 get all the mac & cheese you can eat. See flyer for more info.

"Saturday, February 28, 2015" The Yankee Air Museum is hosting a series of Fly-Zone Family Days starting February 28 and running through the month of May! Each month, students ages 10-18 (and parents, too!) can come to Yankee Air Museum and enjoy the new Fly Zone attraction! Fly Zone is an aerial challenge course for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Additional Information: ? Sign in at 9:30 a.m. ? Program begins at 10:00 a.m. ? Pre-registration required online ? Two family members allowed as observers ? Students and observers should provide own lunch PLUS on February 28 only, there will be a UAS GIVEAWAY to one lucky winner-- AND each registrant will receive two free General Admission tickets to the 2015 Thunder Over Michigan Air Show on August 29-30! This is a great family event not to be missed--ONLY at the Yankee Air Museum!

"Wednesday, March 4, 2015" The Detroit Red Wings, along with Patriots Hockey, is having special discount tickets to their hockey game, with prices from $30 to $50, at the Joe in downtown Detroit, 7PM. $10 of each ticket sold will be donated to Semper Fi Fund to help veterans in need. Bring your ticket stub back on March 29th for free admission to the Patriots will face off against the Detroit Engineers. "Friday, March 6, 2015 (UPDATE)" The SVA Chapter at Lawrence Tech University is hosting their 3rd annual Dinner & Fundraiser. Item moved to April 18!.

"Saturday, March 7, 2015" Fort Dearborn Am Legion Post 384 will host a Chili Cookoff starting at 2PM. Cash bar and lots of other items. Located on Telegraph in Dearborn. See flyer for more info.

"Saturday, March 7, 2015 (UPDATE)" The Navy Operational Support Center Detroit is hosting its Centennial Celebration starting at 1PM at Selfridge, Hangar Bldg 1425. Ceremony includes a parade of colors, guest speaker, etc. This is a free event. See flyer for more info. New guess speaker will by US Senator Gary Peters.
