"Home Front Strong" This is an 8 week program to help military or veteran spouses/partners prepare for, cope with, or rebound from the challenges of deployment and military life. Participants can receive $140 for completing. For complete info and locations see flyer.
"Free (or discounted) Tickets to Local Events" Vet Tickets offers free, or discounted, tickets to sporting events, concerts, etc. Visit their website to sign up and view events.

"Wednesday, February 14, 2018 (NEW)" Stonecrest of Rochester Hills is welcoming all veterans to a Valentine's Day breakfast at 650 Letica Dr, Rochester starting at 10AM. Free to all veterans and their families. For more info call them at 248-656-1403 or see flyer.
"Thursday, February 15, 2018" The Desert Angel's are hosting another in their ongoing Packing Parties for the troops serving overseas, today at the Oakland Sportsman's Club, 4770 Waterford Rd, Clarkston, from 4 till 6PM. Our TROOPS are in need of the following items: VALENTINE COOKIES, COFFEE, HOT CHOCOLATE, GIRL SCOUT COOKIES, letters of encouragement. EVERYTHING from wipes, to food products, to snacks like dried fruits, nuts, meats, tuna etc. gum, candy.. even chocolate!! New socks and more socks, toiletries, so many items they do NOT have excess to. This is an opportunity to serve our TROOPS as they serve our country. YOU can make a difference!

"Sunday, February 18, 2018 (NEW)" The Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society is hosting another in there series of lectures on Metro Detroit in the World Wars. "Thursday, February 22, 2018 " The Canton Community Foundation is hosting a veterans job fair at Madonna University, 36600 Schoolcraft, Livonia, from 10 till 2PM. See flyer for info.
"Thursday, February 22, 2018 (NEW)" Soldiers' Angels is hosting another free food for vets mobile pantry from Noon till 2PM at the American Legion Post 375, 19486 Sherwood, Detroit. You must register in advance at 210-629-0020. See flyer for more info.
"Saturday, February 24, 2018" The Fallen & Wounded Soldier Fund is hosting its 13th annual Dinner, Dance, Auction, at the MGM Grand in Detroit starting at 4PM, with program starting at 6PM. "Sunday, February 25, 2018 " The MI Military Technical & Historical Society is hosting another in their free lecture series on the Detroit area during the war at their location at 16600 Stephens, Eastpointe, starting at 2PM.
