"Buddy-2-Buddy Job Fairs" The B2B network, which works with veterans on a large number of items, is hosting a large number of job fairs around the state of Michigan for the next several weeks. See attached flyer for a complete listing & locations. Go to the bottom of this page to learn more about the B2B network and what they do to help veterans.

"Thursday, March 19, 2015" The University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law is offering a free legal clinic at SS Peter & Paul Church, 438 St Antoine, Detroit, from 9 to 11AM. Today's help will focus on Veterans Benefits. To register call Alesa at the Law School at 313-596-0258. See flyer for other upcoming clinics.

"Thursday, March 19, 2015" The Shrine Circus is honoring all Veterans & Military families with a free presentation of the circus at the Hazel Park Racetrack, 10 Mile, Hazel Park. Presentation of colors at 6:30 with opening night show starting at 7PM. You may RSVP to get your free tickets starting on 2/23/15. See flyer for complete ordering information.

"Thursday, March 19, 2015" American Indian Veterans of Michigan, & VVA Chapter 154, are hosting a Karaoke Night at their clubhouse, 26641 Lawrence, Center Line. You must be a member of either group to attend. Event runs from 5 till 10PM and is free. This is a non alcohol event. See flyer for more info.

"Saturday, March 21, 2015" Lake Orion UAW is once again hosting a Veterans Benefits Awareness Class at their local hall, 180 E Suverbell, Lake Orion, from 9:30 to 3PM. Not only can you get your questions answered you will learn the ins & outs of claims, how to process, etc, taught by the top people at the VFW claims section in downtown Detroit. Cost is $15 to attend this class. For more complete info see attached flyer.

"Saturday, March 21, 2015 " St Clair Shores VFW Post 1146 Ladies Aux is hosting a Feather Party & Meat Raffle at their post, 28404 Jefferson, St Clair Shores, starting at 6PM. Admission is free. For more info call Nancy at 586-757-4883 or see flyer.

"Sunday, March 22, 2015" The Shrine Circus will be at the Hazel Park Raceway, 10 Mile in Hazel Park, hosting a free Veterans Appreciation Night, starting at 5PM. Tickets are free but at this time parking will be $7. Stay tuned for more information.

"Tuesday, March 24, 2015" The Detroit Red Wings, along with Patriots Hockey, is having special discount tickets to their hockey game, with prices from $30 to $50, at the Joe in downtown Detroit, 7PM. $10 of each ticket sold will be donated to Semper Fi Fund to help veterans in need. Bring your ticket stub back on March 29th for free admission to the Patriots will face off against the Detroit Engineers. "Wednesday, March 25, 2015 (NEW)" The Oakland County Parks Department along with the Detroit John Dingell VA Medical Center, is hosting training for the National Veteran Games on how to play Dominoes! "Thursday, March 26, 2015" The Patriot Week Organization is hosting its 2nd annual Patrick Henry Event at the Community House, 360 S Bates, Birmingham, from 7 to 8:30PM. Guest speakers include Oakland County Exec L. Brooks Patterson & Colonel Philip Sheridan, 127th Vice Wing Commander at Selfridge. General admission is $50. For more information see flyer.

"Saturday, March 28, 2015" The War Dog Memorial Association will be holding their annual Spring Clean-Up at the cemetery, 25805 Milford Rd, S Lyon, from 10AM to 3PM. They could use some help so bring your rake or gas powered blower out to the cemetery and lend a hand. For more info contact Phil at 248-685-8307.

"Saturday, March 28, 2015" The St Clair Shores VFW Post 1146 is hosting a Welcome Vietnam Veterans Day with live entertainment, munchies, & more, all for free, starting at 3PM till 7PM. The post is located at 28404 Jefferson, St Clair Shores. See flyer for more info.

"Monday, March 30, 2015" The American Indian Veterans of Michigan is hosting a Welcome Vietnam Veterans Day with munchies, & more, all for free, startingat 2PM till late!. They are located at 26641 Lawrence, Center Line. For more info contact Chris at 248-210-6153 or see flyer.

"Tuesday, March 31, 2015" VFW Post 1407 is hosting a trip to Firekeepers Casino in the western part of the state. Motorcoach will leave the post, 23466 Forest, Oak Park, at 9AM, returning at 7PM. Cost is $40 per person, which includes $20 in freeplay, juice, etc. For more info see flyer.

"Wednesday, April 1, 2015 (NEW)" The Yankee Air Museum is presenting another in their free presentations on WWII, this time on the B-17 Bomber. This will take place in their General Purpose Room at the Museum, Willow Run Airport, starting at 7:30PM.
