Good afternoon everyone – just a quick update on current posted positions at Lowe's of Monroe, Mi

 

I'm currently seeking:

1 Full Time PSI – This position has very specific skill requirements (see below)

 

The Project Specialist - Interiors (PSI) is a salary plus commission sales and design position that executes the Lowe's interior selling model. The PS-I position plays the primary, customer-facing role in designing and coordinating the development of a kitchen and/or bath project that meets the needs and expectations of the client. The PS-I will collaborate with the store's sales team, general contractor, production office, vendors, and Store Management to ensure "Best in class" customer experiences, while meeting sales and margin expectations.

The PS-I will positively impact kitchen and bath project sales volume, margin, project completion, and customer satisfaction by doing the following:

Build relationships with clients and proactively communicate throughout the project.

Meet with clients in the store to assess their Kitchen or Bath project needs

Perform an in home visit with the general contractor to collect project specifications and detailed measurements

Collaborate with store associates to develop comprehensive Kitchen and Bath designs & quotes.

Close kitchen and bath project sales

Perform limited duties during the project installation phase that includes performing job site reviews.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

3 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: Kitchen and/or Bath Design ,Kitchen and/or Bath Design Sales, Kitchen and/or Bath Design Project Management

Preference for experience in both Kitchen and Bath, and experience in multiple fields (i.e., Design, Sales, PM). Related Degrees/Certifications can count toward this requirement.

3 years of customer service experience.

2 years of experience managing multiple tasks and coordinating multiple projects at different stages in the project cycle.

Must have reliable transportation to travel to the sales call/job site and to and from the store.

Must pass a semi-annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and maintain a valid driver's license.

If the state or local municipality requires a salesperson license for this position, you must either be licensed or pass the requisite licensing exam within sixty (60) days of starting employment in this position.

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of experience selling in the home.

Prior experience in measuring, estimating, and project planning.

5 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: Kitchen and Bath Design, Kitchen and Bath Design Sales, or Kitchen and Bath Design Project Management.

NKBA Certification (i.e. AKBD, CKD, or CBD)

1 Full Time CDL –B Delivery Driver

Must have a current CDL A or B to be considered for this position.

Position Description

Pull, load, and deliver customer purchases in a friendly, timely, safe and efficient manner. Greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service. Responsible for all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Required. Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and knowledge of weights and measures. Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and employee inquiries. Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions. Ability to operate store equipment in assigned area (including but not limited to LRT, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance system, key cutting, panel saw, paint mixing computer, blind cutting, forklifts, pallet jacks, electric lifts, etc.). Ability to interpret price tag and UPC information. Ability to read maps, follow specific delivery directions and instructions, determine cost efficient routes and time efficient scheduling of deliveries. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to move throughout all areas of the store; sales floor, receiving, register areas, lawn and garden , including the outside perimeter of the store. Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. Meet physical qualifications for CDL or non-commercial driver's license as appropriate.

 

1 Full Time Customer Service Associate – Appliances

Position Description

Responsible for providing quick, friendly customer service by answering customers questions, providing purchase assistance and keeping shelves stocked. Assigned primarily to one zone on the sales floor, but may be required to work in other areas.

1 Part Time Unloader –

 

 

 

Position Description

Must be available to work Sunday 3p-8p, & Mon-Thur 5p-10p to be considered for this position.

Responsible for safe, accurate and efficient unload and dispersement of RDC freight. Responsibilities also include routine completion of down stocking assignments as directed by store management. Greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service. Responsible for all other duties as assigned.

1 Full Time Pro Services Specialist

Responsible for the overall sales and merchandise maintenance of the assigned department. Maintains the department according to company merchandising standards and store operations policies. Maximizes sales of department merchandise and related products. Ensures that all merchandising and operational activities take place on a consistent basis. Provides and ensures quick, responsive, friendly customer service.

Satisfactorily complete all Lowe's training requirements (including annual Hazardous Material, Forklift certification/departmental training, etc.). Ability to interpret RDC label, price tag, and UPC information. Ability to process merchandise information through store computer system, POS register system and complete all required paperwork according to policy. Ability to follow instructions. Anticipates, recognizes and responds to change by innovative problem solving. Develop and plan activities to ensure proper completion in a timely manner. Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
