Lowe's of Monroe is currently seeking 3 full time & 1 Part Time position.

 

Cabinets Sales Specialist – This is a professional Sales & Design position within the store.  Preferred candidates will have experiencing using 20/20 –CAD, and have prior experience is Kitchen Cabinet Sales.

 

·         Position Description
Responsible for the overall sales and merchandise maintenance of the assigned department. Maintains the department according to company merchandising standards and store operations policies. Maximizes sales of department merchandise and related products. Ensures that all merchandising and operational activities take place on a consistent basis. Provides and ensures quick, responsive, friendly customer service.

·         Job Requirements
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and knowledge of weights and measures. Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and employee inquiries. Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions. Ability to operate store equipment in assigned area (including but not limited to LRT, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance system, key cutting, panel saw, paint mixing computer, blind cutting, forklifts, pallet jacks, electric lifts, etc). Ability to interpret price tag and UPC information. Ability to move throughout all areas of the store; sales floor, receiving, register areas, lawn and garden, including the outside perimeter of the store. Ability to operate, demonstrate and explain merchandise in assigned area. Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.


 

Department Manager Sales Floor – Preferred candidate will have prior management experience in a retail environment.  Knowledge of the specific department posted a plus but not a must.

 

·         Position Description
Responsible for superior customer service, merchandising, and sales performance in assigned area while managing employees.

·         Job Requirements
Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and knowledge of weights and measures. Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and employee inquiries. Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions. Ability to operate store equipment in assigned area (including but not limited to LRT, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance system, key cutting, panel saw, paint mixing computer, blind cutting, forklifts, pallet jacks, electric lifts, etc). Ability to interpret price tag and UPC information. Ability to process merchandise information through store computer system, POS register system and complete all required paperwork according to policy. Ability to follow instructions. Anticipates, recognizes and responds to change by innovative problem solving. Develop and plan activities to ensure proper completion in a timely manner. Accomplish work through the effective management of employees. Ability to move throughout all areas of the store; sales floor, receiving, register areas, lawn and garden, including the outside perimeter of the store. Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. Meet physical qualifications for CDL or non-commercial driver's license as appropriate. Manage inventory and shrink to budget. Responsible for the overall performance of assigned area. Achieve sales and margin budgets in assigned area. Maintain proper control of payroll and other controllable expenses.


Full Time – Pro Services Loader – this is an entry level position requiring ability to perform the essential functions of the job, assisting customers with loading purchases and keeping the lot free of carts.

·         Position Description
Assist customers in carrying and loading their purchases. Maintain outside appearance of store by returning carts to proper location and cleaning/organizing as necessary. Greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service.

·         Job Requirements
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and knowledge of weights and measures. Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and employee inquiries. Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions .Ability to operate store equipment in assigned area (including but not limited to LRT, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance system, key cutting, panel saw, paint mixing computer, blind cutting, forklifts, pallet jacks, electric lifts, etc). Satisfactorily complete all Lowe s training requirements (including annual Hazardous Material, Forklift certification/departmental training, etc). Ability to interpret price tag and UPC information. Able to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions. Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.

Part Time Customer Service II (Week Day Team)  Prior retail or Customer Service Experience preferred.  Excellent customer service skills a must.  Must be able to work 5pm – 9pm Mon – Friday for this position.

 

·         Position Description
Must be available to work evenings Monday - Friday 5pm-9pm.
Responsible for providing quick, friendly customer service by answering customers questions, providing purchase assistance and keeping shelves stocked. Assigned primarily to one zone on the sales floor, but may be required to work in other areas.

·         Job Requirements
Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week. Ability to operate, demonstrate and explain merchandise in assigned area. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and knowledge of weights and measures.
