Shooting Event for Combat and Disabled Veterans - this weekend in Lansing

The MSU Demmer Center, a U.S. Paralympic Training Center, is hosting a free 22 caliber practice shooting day at their center to include equipment, ammo and targets this Saturday, September 20 with the tournament being held for participants on Sunday, September 21. This is open to all combat and disabled Veterans. (LANSING) - The Michigan American Legion now has an accredited Veteran service officer available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week. The American Legion Veteran service officer services all veterans and their families with filing claims to the Veterans Administration on the veteran's behalf or to check the status of a claim already filed. Veterans and current service members in the Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham counties now have more opportunities to file their claim or ask questions. Centrally located in the tri-county area at 212 N.
