"Warrior Veteran Ice Hockey" Michigan Warrior Hockey Program for disabled/wounded Veterans will be hosting a training clinic Tuesdays 7:30pm-8:50pm starting June 17 at Royal Oak Ice Arena. Free to all Veterans, leading up to skating competitively and charity/fundraiser events in the Fall. "Tiger Baseball Tickets" Active members and Veterans of the military are eligible to purchase half-price box office dynamically priced Upper Box Infield and Upper Reserved tickets to all 2014 Monday-Thursday regular season home games excluding July 8, 9 and August 26, 27 and 28. Tickets must be purchased at the Comerica Park Box Office and a valid military ID or Veteran ID must be presented at time of purchase. "Saturday, June 7, 2014" The Brain Injury Association of MI is holding there annual "Tips-Up For the Troops" event at the Eisenhower Center at Kensington Metropark, Brighton. This event is for OIF/OEF & Disabled/Purple Heart veterans, and is free. See flyer for registration and more information.

"Sunday, June 8, 2014" Chelsea Legion Post 31 & Michigan Kayak Fishing are hosting a free event for veterans titled "Heroes on the Water." Enjoy a day on the water & kayak fishing. Nothing to bring, all equipment provided along with lunch. For more info contact Sarah at 734-845-3787 or see flyer.

"Sunday, June 8, 2014" Mt Clemens American Legion Post 4 will be holding the John Rodick Memorial Observation Run to benefit the Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund. "Monday, June 9, 2014 (NEW)" Volunteers of America is holding a summer hiring event at the St Regis Hotel, 3071 W Grand Blvd, Detroit, from 11AM to 2PM. Resume building, interview skills, translation of military skills, are just some of the topics to be covered. See flyer for complete information.
