ANNOUNCEMENTS!
"Red Cross Items for Veterans" The SE Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross has several programs to assist veterans, and their families, with free programs & grants. See the associated flyer for each to get the full details. (1) Certified Nurse Assistant Training. (2) Boots to Business. (3) Emergency Financial Assistance. For questions regarding any of these programs contact Anne at 313-576-4126.
"Weekend Marriage Retreat" As we all know more and more of our soldiers are returning home to family. It is also a reality that these same men and women that have given up so much to keep us safe are not returning the same as they were when they left. This causes the relationship between husband and wife to require an adjustment. In an effort to help with the communication and understanding between husband and wife, the Warrior Ministries is offering a weekend marriage enrichment weekend. There is no cost for the entire weekend. Lodging in the Guest Lodge, breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks and entertainment is included at NO CHARGE. The location is the beautiful VFW National Home for Children in Eaton Rapids. The date is April 25th through April 27, 2014. At this time, there are still reservations available. Please help us and our veterans by letting them know this is available to them. Contact information is Steve Sandstedt 517-881-9784 or stevelsand@aol.com
