ANNOUNCEMENTS!

"Women Supporting Women Vets" WSWV is hosting a Peer to Peer meeting for women veterans on Saturday March 22 between 2 & 4 in Auburn Hills near I75 and M59. The purpose is simple, an opportunity for women veterans to gather and share with others who have walked in their boots. No agenda, casual dress no commitment. If you are interested in this or other monthly Peer to Peer gatherings, call or email Arlene.

"Strong Military Families" The U of M Ann Arbor Hospital is sponsoring several semeniars in Oakland & Macomb Counties for family enrichment for service memebers, their partners, & their children. "Saturday, March 22, 2014" New Baltimore VFW Post 7573 is hosting a Hard Times Party at their post, 35011 23 Mile Rd, New Baltimore, starting at 6PM. Prizes for the best hard times costumes. Tickets are $25 for an evening of dinner, music, etc. Contact 586-725-7100 for tickets are see flyer.

"Tuesday, March 25, 2014" Wayne County Veteran Services is hosting the first in a series of veteran seminars, "The No Wrong Door Seminar." Get your Wayne County Vet ID card, ask questions regarding benefits, etc. Will be held at the Wayne Ford Civic League, 1661 N Wayne Rd, Westland, from 5 to 9PM. See flyer for more information.

"Thursday, March 27, 2014" Patriot Week is hosting an award for Patriot of the Year to Major Carrie Atkinson, at the Oxford Inn, Royal Oak, from 6 to 8PM. See flyer for more info and to order tickets.
